I am not a construction expert but have the info that a lot of time is required for piling and rafts of such huge and uniquely designed structures. Subsequently, compiling of floors after floors are always more easy and quick to construct. Input from the learned visitors of this forum would be helpful.

God forbid, but after the Marriott bombing in Islb, who in their right mind would buy in this 6 star hotel/apt complex? If you look at the drawings, the complex is right on the street. There is no possible way for a barrier to be constructed to protect someone and their investment. It seems to me that terrorists will put this at the top of their list as it will bring the most outrage and publiicty.

My question is this - if the apt complex is somehow destroyed by fire or otherwise, what happens to the investors money? Do they own any of the land it sits on, or is all lost? This is true for any apartment complex.

BTW, the prices for an apt in this complex reach $1,000,000 USD. We ain't talking peanuts.
