Time to buy property,

Dear CMY:

Please advise if this is the best time to buy a house or plot in lahore for living purposes and where. It seems prices of property are going pluim down. Need your best advise.

Rehmat bhai to be honest you kinda missed your chance. The last 2 weeks were the best time to buy. Now at this stage there is still a chance but one must be quick.

The rates would never have been this low if not for the Pakistan-India situation, which thank God has settled down and know people are slowly coming back to investing.

I think that if it is for personal living, it is the right time to buy. though i think prices will be the same for the entire year ,so you can wait and select the property of your choice and at your own price as there are very few buyers in the market.You can look for any deal in which the buyer si desperate to sell. I dont foresee any major increase in the prices of the property especially in already constructed areas.

@ Hassan I think prices are almost same as if you talk 3 week Back reson is it was Just a negative sentiment, and more low cost Poperties were advertized than were available. Price of plots is almost unchanged in last month.
@ rehmat In my advise you should go for a reltivey mature property and at good bargain rates, You should not be misled by the promises. Like eg if some one says that 10 merla Plot is is 30 Lac with all facilities on spot and other one is in 25 But Gas will be available "soon", I will go for 1st one. In this country the development is in at snail track, There are usually 10% Chance that this soon Promised will be in 1 year.
