Limo Bahi, For complete statistics (year 2008-09), please see the below URL http://www.sbp.org.pk/reports/quarterly/fy09/first/URDU/Section_1.pdf In State of Pakistan semi Annual report, the statistics are not bad at all. With better economic policies, we can take an advantage of current World crisis. Imagine, the world interest rate is at lowest level, Pakistan is offering very good return for foreign investments. (Please do not involve religion here). Believe me if we can control these FATA Mullahs then you will see the investment boom. The negative image of country is the biggest hindrance for foreign investment coming into the country. Law and order and recent incidents: - Killing poor polish engineer. - Bombay incident - Kidnapping Chinese engineer - Kidnapping UN representative May Allah give them wisdom to choose the right path. Waqar Bahi, Pakistan political system is very complex. If you look at Pak’s politics history, you will notice that one of the main reasons for not making much economic progress was political instability. I would like to quote few examples: - In first Bibi’s regime, Karachi was burning like a fire. At that time Bibi said that we are facing MINI R EBELLION in Karachi. - In second Bibi’s regime, again she was fighting with Punjab Chief Minister. We did not make any economic progress. - In first Nawaz’s regime, Jam Sadiq made a GOVT in Sindh although PPP was in majority. He did a worse political revenge in Pak political history. - In second Nawaz’s regime, Saif was acting like a Faroun (nozbella). Again worse political revenge was done in this period. We are not used to good political culture in our country. I would say loud and clear, at this moment we do not have any major political problem. We cannot live in world of hate forever. We cannot call every single person choor or lotaa etc. Again democracy is the best solution for Pakistan. We have to work together with minorities (Balochs and Sindhi). Yes we can and we will eliminate bad politicians if we stay on democracy path. If you look at Pak’s political history, you will notice that most of nationalist parties flourished during military regimes. Although we have the worst political system but it’s still better than military. Yes we do not need any progress by cracking our federation system. |
