Do you think that foreign investors will come back to Pakistan?
I don't think so.... if you think and hope that soon the prices will go back to the high levels of few years back you are living in fools paradise.

Just write off your losses and stop dreaming... foreign money is not coming back.....

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?

Asim, you made the point but forgot to facter two major changes
1- Govt. put tight grip on HUNDI business, so most people have to send money through banks. Hundi people were not disclosing the right amount
2- Infalation is 28%, so even 18% increase still not making relatives and families to save any money for investments.

I think this CHACHA is the same character previously named ZERO. Frankly his antics are too childish for a grown up forum like this.

lolz Chacha ki chachi lagta hai maikhay gai hui hai.....

in first four lines he was talking like he is a teacher in the class.... one way of communication..
and in last line he just changed he mind and asking our openion.

Ok,
now my openion....

Its not the duty of foreign nationals to invest in Pakistan, its our duty to make it good for the investment.

And these market conditons are good for buying low..
The only thing is we dont know that market has hit the bottom yet or not.

Look at the Stock exchanges all over the world. Prices are 50-80% low in just one year. And most of the people are investing becuase they belive buying low is the best way to make money.

do your research...
life is too short to take baby steps...

You can buy the toys made in china, cloths made in italy, and car made in Japan, but if u live in Pakistan, than you have to construct a house here and you just cant bring a foreign land here ...
i hope you guys will get my point.

take care

allah haffiz

I am an investor who has in millions all over the world.
Investor will invest money in a place where he thinks his money is safe and he will get good profit on his money. Do you think it applies for Pakistan?

See how zardari and company are running the country , slowly loosing country to Taliban. What positive economic steps have been taken by government to increase the chances of investors to come?

Secondly with the global turbulence in economy investors will keep their money in cash and in dollars, not in rupees.

FORGET ANY IMPROVEMENT or change for the next 4 years. After that we will see if anything happens.

Property dealers should think of starting some other business, they are in wrong business.

There has been slight increase in remittance because of high inflation in Pakistan, A thousand rupee does not buy you the same items anymore, you need 1500 instead and who will send that money overseas Pakistanis !!

Dear Uncle / Chacha ji

Please invest something for the World after Death. As soon as someone leaves the world, all his wealth remains here only his Zakat / Sadaqat, Sadaq e Jariah and Duaas and good deeds of children become his assests for the next life

May Allah help us in preparing for the next world

Dear Zakat

Allah has NOT told us to cutoff from this world. We have to live in this world and also prepare for the next world. YES we should pay zakat and sadqa but Islam has not forbidden us from investing in realestate and stock market.

The crazy mullahs want us to isolate ourselves and live life like 1400 years ago, they forget that even the Prophet Mohammad PBUH was also doing trading.

Mr. Chacha.. kindly 1st consult some mullah then say anything behing him.

Prophet muhammad (SAWW) done business (& preferred business) but he used to earn only for living.. & we earn for just earning. Like someone say, "If you have one gold mountain then you will ask for another"

As long as the Taliban continues to take control of Pakistan inch by inch, marla by marla, day by day, the foreign investment will diminish dollar by dollar, rupee by rupee, day by day.

It is not possible to understand how the Taliban rule can be allowed to spread and grow. I have a friend living in Peshawar who is scared for his life and family. If a woman is seen riding in the front seat of the car, the Taliban stop the car and beat the driver. What kind of country is Pakistan becoming ??? Who would ever invest in Peshawar. And how much longer until this insanity reaches Punjab or Sindh?

If Pakistan cannot fight and defeat the Taliban, a war with India will be laughable and over in about 45 minutes.

Very well said yessss. I will add one more 's' in your name. I have to beat them, they cannot hijack our culture and society on the name of their own version of Islam.

We will and we can,inshallah!

@yess

r u sure your friend lives in peshawar not some away town from peshawar? since my mother daily go with my brother, while sitting on front seat. & btw my family lives in mardan, and they are also scared of taliban because they have reached very close to mardan.

There strategy is to gather all the criminals(In pakistan, most every town has a place where people don't pass late night)& give them money weapons, and let them to implement (FAKE) Shariah. & many people who are dumb enough to follow what exactly islam is, fall for it. & accept it as real shariah. Main points are to think about;

1. Why exactly they are trying to implement a shariah, which they didn't implemented in Afghanistan. (I think they are only trying to defame islam & taliban's name)
2. Who is providing them Weapons & money?
3. After knowing most of the facts, why our government (Hypocrite) is still going towards our known enemies
