I would recommend that you remain "TUN". You won't be able to find a house in 40 lakh in todays world, perhaps in rundown only. I would recommend that you add some more money and bring your budget up to 50-60 lakh.

You can get 5 to 8 marla good house in Masrial road/chakra road and Range road.Contaact with property dealer at that area.

Range road, it seems difficult but may be deep inside Afhan Colony, it might work.
Misrial road, in Officer Colony, Friend’s Colony and all others near SCO Complex, it could be bought at this price. One good thing about Misrial Road:
This area has a tremendous water supply available now from Shahpur Dam.
In Lave-4 or other lanes, having narrow entrances, there are old houses available but not less than 50 lacs.

I think you can also get in cantt area for around 45-50, i don't remember the society name, but my wife's laws used to live there.

btw i am from lahore don't know much about pindi property. I only know since they were selling there house and no one was buying on 8million, & it is double story house 1K

I already mentioned it is Pindi, and still they are trying to get more then 80, but no one is giving them more then that or even 80K. i will let you know the exact location, but army base is just behind that society & it is cantt area.

The chour chowk,masrial road is the centre of many basic facilities...like rwp railway sation,cm hospital,saddar,pirwadhai/dawoo bus stand etc....

the good living area are PIA COLONY,ILYAS COLONY,OFFICER COLOY,FRIEND,s COLONY......the price is 5-marla house in pia and ilyas colony is 25-30 lac....very poush and liveable area.

Please consider Abu Bakr Block Safari Valley Bahria Town. You can get a 183.33 sq. yards plot ranging from 10. 50 lac to 14 lac depending upon locaton With Possession. You can construct your own house there. I have recently started constructing my house there. All facilities are available there.
