I wish to buy one file of DHA Phase-8 and would like to know the difference between Transfer file (open file) and Allocation file. I will be highly grateful if some one could clarify this issue. akram ch replied on Monday, February 16, 2009 11:14 AM

Transfer file= Seller will have to come to DHA office for transfer on transfer day.Seller or current owner is same. You make pay order in sellers name. You get sale agreement from current owner on record. DHA Parkview Open file= seller have signed all needed docs in front of past Parkview management and that original seller will not come to DHA office on transfer day. Owner/seller on DHA file record file opening day and current seller holding an open file could be different persons. Sale agreement will not be signed by original seller that got file opened. You get sale agreement from current holder of file. Any one can go to court get a stay and claim he lost an open file and you could be stuck for life in court battle. Only DHA phase 8 Parkview have open files. No other phase in DHA Lahore have open files. DHA Allocation File= It could be an open file or a transfer file. This is simply a latter from DHA Lahore telling you are allocated a plot in a said phase. It means you will get a plot number when there is a ballot. Once you pay all development charges and other dues you get a final allotment letter. Ch Mujahid Yasin 03224009967 |
