Dear Usman Bhai, Whenever my heart bleeds it’s for Pakistan, I am sorry but I am not ashamed to admit that my family was never my priority, it was a common poor Pakistani to whom I was committed to serve. People on this forum will think I am mad for what I did whole of my life, just listening to my conscious. I was a high cadre officer but I did not do what most of the high ranking officer of Pakistan administration are doing. Every individual who is in the Government organisations has some targets in mind, I am sorry I was the lone guy who had no financial targets set during his entire service until the day I had to bid farewell to my dream country. It was with heavy heart, that I left my home land after I was chosen by the World Bank for a Ph.D. post-graduate Degree; having completed my degree I felt I was the lone reveller on the path of what I called serving the “poor creatures” of almighty Allah. I don’t want to drag you guys into my bitter experiences but would quote here briefly one or two examples..While I was at Karachi, I was going to see the Minister of the Department I was serving in, one person who I had seen couple of times at the Sindh Secretariat building gates, crossed my path, he had an application of his nephew for the grade 1 post (usually peons/chokidar) in his hand, this guy was from the rural areas of Sindh (Perhaps from the District of Larkana). What he said was”could you help my nephew in the name of God” I took this application with me and while I was getting some official papers signed by the minister X, I asked the Minister to mark it as “seen” and put his initials on it (Ministers do not appoint grade 1 employees) and I said I will issue his orders. Minister X stopped and asked me “who has recommended him? I said he is god sent, Ministers answer came, “he has brought discomfort to me”. On another occasion, some posts were advertised for the job of naib- qasid /qasid grade 1 posts in the news papers (although all those posts were already filled by the persons whose bio-data was sent along with their ID cards by the said Minister, he directed that salaries ofall these people should be sent to the Ministers residence). Dates of interviews were announced and on the specified date I was asked to interview the applicants. One of the applicants I was interviewing told me that he was Hafiz-e-Quran and had come from a far flung area of District Dadu after borrowing Rupees one Hundred from a relative; I could not control my emotions and tears rolled down my cheeks, I had to tell him that the truth is there are no vacancies; these are just fake interviews. This is just the tip of the iceberg, what goes at a higher level that would be impossible for the general public to know. One of the Ministers had called a meeting at a location in Karachi at 8.00 PM, when we turned up he was so drunk that he could not walk, the other minister was using a glass of stainless steel to pour cannabis drink from the thermos he kept all time with him. How the money was being looted I would not go into those details. Is this why Pakistan was created? The answer comes it was created for Muslims; I am asking the forum “are Muslims safe in Pakistan? They are not safe here; they are not safe in Palestine, yes right.... because of the Zionists in the neighbouring country? Then the big question is if there is no Zionist Government in Pakistan, why the Muslims are getting killed? Why are we asking the big brothers to stop the drone attacks on Pakistan soil and we are suggesting that they should supply us with the drones and we will do their job on our soil, where ever they will order will use drones as per their instructions (referring to Shah Ahmed Qureshi’s statement). Usman sahib, thanks for your kind words, its is very encouraging to see that at least some one from this forum has called me “MAD”. The email you referred, works both for yahoo and hot mail, but no capital words in the email address. Reagrds, God bless you. |
