Has Shahbaz Sharif also been restored as CM of punjab or only chief Justice been restored?

Aamir replied on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 03:33 AM

According to Atizaz Ahsan,(a statement in Express news paper)the restored Chief Justice will not touch the NRO. The politicians provided amnesty through this ordinance would now continue enjoying the same for ever.

C.J. will not only touch NRO but also abolish it shortly. He is not going to get dictated from Atizaz or any other person, especially if he/she is part of a party as well. Judiciary has been restored, thanks to everyone, it was part of a job for lawyers to fight for their rights/ boss which has been achieved. Now everyone should get back into their courts and commence work.

Justice is justice and C.J. knows tackling NRO will form most of his integrity as a C.J. of Pakistan to be remembered. Any ordinance which was passed by Musharraf (illegal ruler) has to be questioned and abolished if not in country's interest.

It was a conflict of elites that looks to be over for the time being, though i personally feel that it has entered from one phase to another.CJ is back on his seat through a clandestine deal.Speculations are rife that he has been restored on assurances that he will not hear petitions that could be bothersome for establishment. What Aamir pointed out is right that Aitezaz ( who is a real culprit in this whole judicial crisis) has clearly said that CJ will not touch NRO. So poor populace of this country whose sentiments have been successfully exploited in the name of "free judiciary" is deceived again. Will justice ever prevail in our country, a question that remains to be answered yet.

Aitzaz did not say that Chief Justice will not touch the NRO. He said that he will not sit in the Bench hearing the petition on NRO.

Salman replied on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 05:34 AM

Aitezaz should not have given any such statement yesterday that C.J. should not touch NRO. Aitezaz has got himself in trouble now. Judiciary requires no dictation from anyone, justice is justice for all.

No news about Musharraf whereabouts??

Even if CJ doesn't touch the NRO, Zardari will be trapped in the forthcoming corruptions, he is going to be making.
