I am preparing for construction of house on a 35x70 plot, in G-13 Islamabad. The contractor whome I contacted has quoted me Rs 1700 per sq for basement (half), ground and first floor.
Can you friends advise if this is reasonable rate?

1700 is maximum rate and that time steel rate was RS 85000 /Ton and now rate is Rs 45000/ton. Reasonable rate is 1300/1400 per sqf in Islamabad and 1200/1300 in lahore because construction material rate is less in lahore than islamabad for normal standerd otherwise there is no limit peaple are spending Rs one milion in one bath room. |

(35x70)x1700=42 lac. Butt sahib so are you saying that the construction cost for the whole 3 floors is 42 lac or just for one floor. |

A fair estimate is 1200/1300 rupees per sq.ft. as Mr. Butt has stated. This of course is for one floor Mr. Interested. |
