I would like to share a short story with all the participants of this site . Recently I met a guy who was born and brought up in UK in a family migrated from Pakistan a long while ago . I was amazed to hear his views about different aspects of life . He wouldn`t buy a house on mortgage as paying interest is Haram , but he wouldn`t mind drinking and have no qualms in having an intimate relationship with Eastern Europeans women .
Since I met this guy I was perplexed with the contradictions in his personality . I still couldn`t come to terms with this enigma .
Then I decided to look around and saw an equally puzzling question , the Talebans . I was born and brought up in Pakistan and know a lot about these people . Let`s discuss their trade since the tribal areas became part of Pakistan : drug trafficking , human trafficking , illegal trade of guns , smuggling in general . Most of the ring leaders of criminal gangs live in tribal areas . All the cars and other valuables stolen from mainland Pakistan end up in tribal areas . You name any heinous crime and findings has always been that these people are behind it . Yet these talebans want to lead their lives according to Shariah . Don`t tell me that poverty forced them to their way of living . After all they are walking around with the most sophisticated weaponary , which cost a fortune , which most of the law enforcement agencies in Pakistan could not get .
Sickening thing is that some of our political leaders find it hard to condemn their crimes . In fact they are supporting them by not raising their voices against them . Take an example of Imran Khan , Sharif brothers and Qazi Hussain Ahmad , they blame security lapse , Musharraf , America , establishment and find any other excuse not to condemned them . We have seen only glimpses of what to come , if the people of my motherland don`t stand up against these evil forces they are going to destroy the whole country . Allah Taalah help the people of Pakistan and give them courage and clarity of thinking to see these peoples evil designs.

Our political Gods are equally criminal for not condeming the shameful acts on the name of Islam.
Our govt. is facilitating those people by not helping the victims.
We need to give relief to the poor people and stop taking bribes from IMF in the name of loans.
Today, people of Pakistan are more informed than as compared to 80's or 90's |

There is one very crucial point which has been ignored by the ppl inrelation to this menace. This Menace needs solved by the Government of Pakistan alone without any participation by the foreign agencies. This is our problem and we have to solve it . When there is involvement from the foreign troops based in Afgahanistan, Pakistan has every genuine reason to doubt the motives behind those actions, we can see that troops from an enemy country (which is India) are based at Afghanistan, their deployment on Afghan soil raises many questions. Indian agenda is not some thing which is hidden. What we have to decide is "ARE we prepared to accept the action of Indian troops from within Afghanistan to attack the tribal reas of Pakistan to help us to fight the manace of "Talibanisation"? Perhaps every one of us knows the answer. |

In the abscence of political parties Violance comes in the society ,once said Bhutto during his prison time.
We all in denial as We try to put the blame on others whenever some thing happens.

Sharif league and Zardari party are friends with each other and this is all what we need!
As far I understand the job of govt. is to collect tax only and people of Pakistan have to take care of their problems by themself.

Pakistan is in downward spiral, no day passes by with out murder of innocent people. What has happened to people? I look around and see Pakistani's hopeless, selfish, arrogant and ignorant. No one cares about anyone. I dont know what Democratic goverment is doing, they condemn and then silent. None of the culprits have been apprehendid, everyone just sitting quite that one day this will just go away. Police, Army, Intelligence services all are sleeping or waiting for some miracle to happen. The way things going, I think Pakistan boundaries will change soon. These sik MF bombers are everywhere. Common people have to step up and just take care of these MFs. |
