Hello Everyone, Plese be very careful and scrutinize thoroughly before contacting anyone from South Africa. There has been lots of fraud going on in South Africa. Please ensure that don't give out your hard earned money to fake companies and business. Your well wisher. |

It looks to be a fraud as there are no telephone number, no address, even the email is the free gamil i.e. no website/domain. The jobs are in every department, so that many people should apply and huge pays. "When its too good to be true, it probabally is" In a recession, when people are dying to get a job every where why Mr henderson is asking people of Pakistan to apply for jobs which give them more pay then their prime minister. I would ask administrator to remove this ad as many innocent pepole would fall to this scam. |

FYI. Please do not give any money for any thing. IT SHOULD BE FREE. Recruiter are paid by the hiring companies not by the individual to be hired. Some recruiter will ask you to paid to make your resume / movie or prepare you for interview blah blah..... I try to locate his recruiting firm on the net BUT result is NONE. May Allah keep us united and blessed by his kind mercy. |

What sounds "too good to be true" is highly unlikely to be true. A lot of things in this ad are dodgy. Please be careful! |

Dear All, I am of the opinion that this is scam. No harm in sending CV / bio data until they ask from you some dollars as a processing fee. As soon as they ask for money, this will be clear cut indication that they are fraudsters and stop corresponding with them. |

Dear All, I sent Mr Victor had also given this add on http://pec.org.pk/listoffirms.aspx (job no 35) from where i ended up sending him my CV later i got this reply from him: Dear Wajih Naeem, We acknowledge the receipt of your CV with your work experienced attached to it. However before the approval of your employment, we will first of all demand for your identification document for more verification. i.e. your valid traveling document. Please do scan this and send to us in your next correspondence. Thanks, Sincerely yours, Victor Henderson. Tel: + Fax: + Tell me what should I do? |

Dear Naeem, On first communication email employer will never ask for you travel document copy, and a person get employment based on his qualification and experience not on the basis of his travel document therefore i will not go ahead with such company, secondly what will he do with your travel document copy??? you must have provided you nationality and DOB and PP number etc in your email... I will advice you don't give him your passport copies, just make any excuse and see what will he reply... It seems to be a fraud, first they will ask for your travel documents, than they will ask for some money in order to process your visa and than they will disappear... so better be careful... kind regards wj |

@ Above Mr wajih Thankyou so Much for your prompt response. Actually the issue is that by mistake I have ended up sending him my scanned passport copy. After sending that i realized that he is mailing from gmail account. I am not gonna have any further contact with this guy. I just want to know that can he harm me in any respect by having copy of my passport? I am scared as there are so many frauds these days people end up making virtual humans based on copied PP's etc. so I am really scared over this. Please help me. I made a blunder by not looking at the complete email. and later realized that its from gmail. Please help me and guide what should I do now? Thanks |

Sallam, Passport copies which are not attested can't make any problem, but just for safety, keep record of communication that you had with this person, just in case if something gets wrong however chances are 1 in million. Plus, inform gmail support team about it too, plus also save this discussion that you had on this forum for safety purpose. Take care and good luck with job search :D regards wj |

The bottom line is: They want to reach to your credit card account. If you are giving too much personal information, it would be easier for them to dig in into your credit card. If you book online and pay online then travel documents are much worthy for them to do the fraud. |
Careful replied on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 08:51 AM
What if some one does not have passport or credit card? Recently Lahore police said that Indian terrorists involved in shooting at Srilankan team bought cars and booked hotel rooms on fake ID. I have also read some where a month ago that all Pakistanis who register on Indian based marriage websites are at risk of stollen ID. Be very very careful to give too much personal information on web. Recently, army of terrorists have been imported into Pakistan and they will soon be buying houses and transport and obviously on fake documents. |
