Its a SAFE but very long time investment suitable only for those not having cash in hand and want to pay in installments. My advice is try to sell both or merge them. |

Personal experience- No refund or return of any of the plots allowed. The only option is the request to merge. It make take them upto 6 months to act n the merger request ut will be done in due course o ftime. Donot have to pay the instalments for the plots to be merged, but keep instalments of the one you want to keep upto date. Try calling DHAI @ ext 279 or 151.Below is what I got in response: "Reference to tele-conversation with Mr Muhammad Kashif Sharif Director Finance DHA Islamabad on 09 Jan 2009 on the subject refers. DHA Overseas Block plot can be merged / adjusted as per following mechanism:- 1. Preparation of affidavit by the person who wants to surrender the plot as per the specimen attached on Rs 20 stamp paper duly notarized. 2. Attachement of copies of CNIC of both the person who wants to surrender the plot and the person in favour of plot is being merged / adjusted. 3. Attachement of demand draft Rs 5000 in favour of DHA Overseas Block on account of merger fee. 4. Attachment of copies of intimation letter by the person who wants to surrender the plot. Please despatch through courier service all the above mentioned documents in original to DHA Islamabad for our further necessary action as desired. Regards" COPY OF AFFIDAVIT: AFFIDAVIT Before DHA Islamabad I ____________S/O _______________Resident of _______________________________ Do solemnly affirm that I had deposited Rs _____ in DHA valley vide cheque no/cash vide slip no _____dated ____ in scheme DHA valley. That I want to surrender above said account in favour of _________________S/O______________ who is my real ____________________. Respected Mr.Khan, Thanks for proper guidline. Sir, are you sure it is merger process not transfer process ? I think it is transfer process while merger is between 2 plots having same owner. |

Hi Mr. Aghai Please go through the e-mail attached above carefully. It clearly states merger/ adjustment between the plots owned by the same person. Best of luck |

Thanks guys...so you all suggest 1. not to retain them, try to sell them 2. its better to merge two plots into one, rather than selling them at loss. The max loss in case of merger is the 5000 merger fee and the processing fee ..... Thanks all |
