real estae sector is definitely included in tax net in coming budget.
govt is determined to implement it@2% of the prevailng market price.
details will be collected from the dha/lda/cda/governing bodies/municiple committes etc.
realestae in the name of woman/minors/non working family members will be deemed as assessts of the head of the family.

ppl will ofcourse buy if they wana build house .. BUT it will only affect the small investors which are trying to loot average people i would luv to see a tax of around 10% on every 2nd plot ...but 5% is for sure ... so enjoy it ashraf when it will come in budget |

property tax is always there but it is only on possession. I believe the property in which you are living is excluded. Market rate of the property is absolutely not the govt domain. Rate fluctuates on supply and demand. However there is no chance on tax on property in such a way mentioned in top commets.
Most people have bought homes/plots from the saving on income which was already tax paid. |
