hi i want to buy some property in lahore but i dont want to transfar or keep pak rupee in lahore from canada to lahore transfar to pak rupee very easy for me thru moneygram any time and no limit but i dont want transfar pak rupee
in lahore no any bank open account candian dollars so then i open account us dollars in standred charterd bank lahore
my question is i want to transfar some money from canada to lahore in my us dollars account in standred charterd bank so in canada witch bank is good for me i give candian dollars and they transfar in my us dollar account lahore with less charg and good service
also want to know what is the fix deposit rate on us dollars for short or long terms in pakistan and witch bank is give beter fix deposit rates on us dollars

both RBC and CIBS are good. it will cost you around 30$ to wire less then 10k. safe and legal, and in 4 days you will get it in pak

Per my calculations, if you transfer more than 15000 US$ then the bank charges are covered with somewhat lesser banks' exchange rate. I mean you'd get a rate as of hard currancy.

i m sorry if u get offended, but this is very strange person who is living abroad dosent know how he can transfer his money to pakistan n through which bank, i think even ur bank can give u or advice u, i am sorry but we pakistan is a victim of militants these days and i feel strange that when u people leave pakistan u gather all the information but now u know nothing............

Mr. Well Wisher,

I am sure you or anybody else was not born with all the information already in his head. You have to learn, study, ask people experience to get different kinds of knowledge or information and this exactly what he is doing. Transferring of money is a very common question which most overseas Pakistanis have and are hesitant to use proper legal channels because of lack of information. It is good if someone is asking this question as the answers on a website like this benfits many other silent readers as well.

well said, my father was in this business (currency exchange), still i used to ask many people how you guyz send money to pakistan, when i was in UK.
