@Habib i no where try to complicate things, but just inform you what i heard & know. Also, you are forgetting, nisab don't count on the things which are of my use, also the things which are not been placed for lone yr uselessly. Like business money or goods, like your house car, ac, fans, lights, kitchen equipments. So let suppose i have 1 lac ruppees, which i am using for my daily use then nisab don't apply, but if i have just 25k spare to me, then nisab does apply. This also means if i am getting 3 lac/month. but in the end of month nothing lefts in my pocket then zakat don't apply on me. but if i earn 10,000 & saved 25k last yr which are still in my pockets then i have to pay zakat on it. Actually, i personally have same problem, i just earn enough 4 my family, while there is gold of my wife which reaches nisab level, thats why i have to pay zakat, whether i can afford it or not. but yes if i sale that gold and buy a house for my self, then again i will come under nisab. I hope i am not again complicating things. :) & yes Quran do invites to use our brains, but also tell us to ask from those who knows. & i think scholars are the one who actually invest their life while study quran and fiqah. We only have one scenario, but they get many scenarios from different people on their daily routine. |
