It is an event that is played every two years probably and only a couple of countries participate in it.Fortunately we won it, its great.Whole team alongwith the management desrves the credit as it was a classic example of real team work.But the way this victory is being projected and celebrated really make me feel like we are overreacting. Such a jubiliation would have been understood, had it been a 4 year like big event as we won in 92.Can we really afford to celebrate it the way we are with millions sitting in the tents out of their homes in absolute pathetic condition.Our army at war with our own people (ok call them terrorist but they are the sons of the soil). Anti state sentiment at its peak in Baluchistan. Suicide bombing and load shedding continue to remain the fate of this nation.Sectore like healthcare and education remain completely ignored.We are a nuclear power but look how helpless when it comes to stopping drones who continue to kill our civilians, under the brink and nod of the government i must say.Our head feels no shame in begging around the world, they made a nation begger that has wealths of potentials. I think we need to go a long way yet before we could really celebrate like a dignified nation in the world.

Dear Limo,

We as a nation need to show the world that we are not only involved in this so called war on terror or victim of problems created by some .... such as Bush / Mush, we are and Insha Allah will emerge a great National. Let the people to celebrate the way they want, b'caz they have very limited opportunities like T20 one. Its like a light in the dark night. Always think positive.... don't mind

i am sorry to say mr limo,that people like u alwys critisie,what ever is the situation,if after the long long time we pakistanis heard a good news abd u are objecting on that too...its agreed that displaced people are there,army is fighting with terrorist,,dont say those guys son of soil,say them traitors ...agent of foreign powers...

moreover this celebration is not for good, is for some days and people like u critising ,,,

limo dude dont be so pessimistic. there were not couple of teams as u said. it was world championship involving dozens of teams from all over the world in pre-qualifying round and the actual event. All the powers of cricket played and one country won it which is our country Pakistan. now let those enjoy who feel happy and proud. if you prefer you can crawl in you pessimist grave but dont say others should not celebrate. it is a great morale booster for a nation in difficult times.

Whole team along with the management desrves the credit as it was a classic example of real team work. But the way this victory is being projected and celebrated really make me feel like we are not celebrating enough. Such a mellow response would have been understood, had Pakistan not been the World Champion. We really need to celebrate it to boost our morale since millions of us are sitting in the tents out of our homes in bad condition. Our Brave army is at war with terrorists that are enemies of this soil. Patriotic sentiment is at its peak in Baluchistan and was demonstrated in all parts of Baluchistan after Pakistan won the World cup. Suicide bombers are being taken care of by our brave army. Load shedding will be taken care of by the end of this year. Sectors like healthcare and education need additional attention and will get there soon. Proudly, we are a nuclear power. Look how helpless terrorists are as their behinds are now being kicked by pak Army from one side and American drones from the other. In times of crisis, all paksitanis being local or overseas, come together, and such is being demonstrated for the displaced people presently, and was demonstrted in 2005 earthquake relief effort. I think we need to celebrate small things in life, and especially big events like these deserve a lot more attention from all.
