new rates of transfer of plots in dha lahore! (phase 6 & 7),

The new cvt rates and stamp duty has been officially announced by dha lahore on friday evening.
Cvt charges are 4 percent and stamp duty is 2 percent on all phases. phase 1 to phase 5 the d.c rate has been enhanced and the transfer charges have increased substantially but in phases 6 and 7 they remain the same. Thus the plots in dha phase 6 and phase 7 transfer charges have only increased by Rs. 25000/-(earlier the cvt was Rs. 25000/- and the stamp duty was Rs.25000/-: now only the cvt has increased to Rs. 50000/-)
Some property dealers are creating confusion and quoting much higher charges for these two phases so I thought of posting this note so that owners of plots in these two phases should know the factual position.
p.s. I have seen the dha lahore office order with the new rates personally!
