Microsoft has acknowledged a serious security loophole in IE on Windows XP.

As of now Microsoft hasn't issued automatic update to fix this, but until automatic update arrives it can be avoided by instructions at following link. Read sections 'Fix it for me' or 'Let me fix it myself'
