Recently I have received possession letter from DHA for my plot in DHA-6. I need to know; whether I have to pay any amount now for possession? And what I have to do to collect possession for my plot?

Malik sahib congratulations. You don't have to do or file any thing at this time. You are allowed to start the construction now. If you want to start building a house than you should file with DHA Lahore two signed form for getting a site plan. The site plan tells you the size of your plot. Normally its one kanal and in some cases especially if its a corner you may have one to 7 marla extra land. You will be asked by DHA to clear extra land payment before site plan is given to you. Filing fee for site plan is Rs 2100.
If you don't want to build a house or want to sell it you don't need to do any thing. To build a house or to sell a plot after possession is available a site plan must be applied by you and site plan takes 7 to 10 days to get cleared. |
