limo replied on Monday, July 20, 2009 09:07 AM  A 14-member larger bench of the Supreme Court (SC), comprised entirely of NON PCO JUDGES, headed by PCO CJ (what a joke) is likely to formally start the review of a verdict validating the November 3, 2007 state of emergency imposed by General (r) Pervez Musharraf. He kept sitting in the lap of General for almost 5 years and did everything that hit hard to our constitution. Did he once publically regret for his actions / decions that consolidated dictatorship.With what face he is heading that bench!

Pakistani replied on Monday, July 20, 2009 10:16 AM  Ever since he refused to bow to the dictator he has become the hero of the masses. Prior to that he did make many hard decisions which were good for the country but not pleasant for the dictator and his corrupt team headed by Shortcut Aziz. His dicision regarding Steel Mills prevented the looting for a phenominal public resource. Please do not forget he has his own limitations and he has to do many considerations. On the whole this man have shown more courage and more concern for ACTUAL JUSTICE compared with his predecessors who were mostly nothing but the puppets of the establishment. Nawaz Sahrif is one of the most corrupt politicians (very close to Zardari in magnitude of corruption) but Supreme Court's acquital of Nawaz was not in a corruption case. His acquital is in the plane hijacking case which we all know was fabricated against him by the American slave dictator Pervaiz Musharraf. I salute the Chief Justice of Pakistan because he has made many difficult but right decisions under very difficult conditions and has refused to bow to pressure at least far better than the rest of the lot in judiciary, government and the establishment. I wish we had more sons of Pakistan like him.

Unbiased view replied on Monday, July 20, 2009 04:16 PM  @Pakistani Come out of the illusions dear.They have nothing for you in the stores.They are there to fight the battle of their own interests only.Nawaz lawyer in the court admittted that he ordered diversion of the plane just to save the democratic set up.And the the so called agreement was infact an appeal by Nawaz to the then president for pardon against the punishment that he got in the form of life time imprisonment.Now why they jumped when this agreement was made public in the court, bcz it leaves them with no grounds to prove their innocence. Very simple, you have been given punishment in a case, you submit appeal to remit, and after getting pardon on certain conditions, you leave the country for 10 years.Today this supreme court clears you, ignoring all the merits of justice.Justice has been favoured NOT delivered.

The proof that CJ is genuine is that even those judges who resigned when Chief Justice Iftekhar took oath under military dictator, are supporting his actions. All judges who have raised their voice against any dictator are supporting chief justice. "Der Aie Drust aie"
