With the comments of various esteemed visitors, an opinion is very obvious that most of the sectors of DHA phase -VII are developing fast with the exception of a few that includes 'W' sector. Yet the DHA Lahore official website shows the prices of W sector to be highest. Why this dichotomy??? Can anyone explain please??? I have a plot in W sector, what should I do with it? hold it or sell and buy a plot in-lieu in other sector???? Kind advises shall be welcome. Thanks

Dear Farrukh sahab,
If you sell W plot now you wont get a good price.Dont be hasty in your investment decisions. I have visited dha phase 7 many times in the past few weeks and believe me unlike what Mr.Warlord suggests there is no village in block W .The village is entirely in V block. According to my information dha lahore is close to striking a deal with the village land owners and soon after that development work will start in V and W block. All blocks have some negative factor .R block in phase 7 has 40 plots which have a graveyard and a wall has now been constructed around them by dha lahore.I have visited the R block and counted the plots personally.These delays and encroachments are a part and parcel of land acquistion of such mass scale as done by dha lahore in phases 6 and 7 and will clear away soon. So be patient please and avoid switching at this stage ! |

CMY or warlord Pls give info regarding Main Bluvard of phase 7, Last 500 yards patch connecting it to Barki Road has been acquired by DHA or Not yet??
This will have great impact on Q,S,T and U Blocks, as so far main Bulvard is Blocked near its exit by Qabza Group |

Azam sahib may be right cause i only saw village while standing behind golf course near M and S block juntion and the area which i saw was V block i donot know how far it extends back but it is a big village (Sorry i should have been careful not to include W block with out seeing but i assumed its big so may be covering W block)
Any hasty decision should not be made unless you visit the area your self rather than believing or getting worried by what is be said here...You can only get actual picture when u are there......As far as being patient is concerned yes one should be patient but also keep fact on ground in mind also .I donot suggest buying plot in grave yard in R block ( a bad plot is Bad in QRSTUVWXYZ ) i have said buy best location plot which u can see unerdevelopment which is probelm free and which is priced lower than your current plot V and W blocks are still the highest priced plots even with these few issues . As far as saying deal is being done with villagers i donot doubt it certainly DHA will be under process of doing it and will most probably get it done...But people in phase6 G block whoes plots have not been cleared also remained patient and are still patient hopefully.Donot be panic because you will get a plot most probably the same area where u have seen on map but my point was that there may be delay as compared to other blocks and proximity to golf course should not be the only criteria while evaluating the price

Dear Warlord sahib,
I did not intend to criticize you in any way ! I am sorry if you took it that way. Whereas I only mentioned R block phase 7 (graveyard issue) to stress my point that land issues , litigation etc. are common is such large land acquistions. I certainly did not imply that you had suggested R block graveyard as a prospective investment.
I feel we as a nation take everything personal and construe wrong motives to well intentioned advice and comments ! |

I am highly grateful to Mr Warlord and Mr Azam for sharing their thoughtful opinions. I must acknowledge that each one of them has put up their candid opinion. I am highly indebted to both indivduals and extend mt deepest thanks for sparing their time to write in detail. I shall, however, anxiously wait for Mr CMY's opinion as his suggestions carry far too insight and more logics. Thanks once again for very constructive opinions. |
