Hello/Salam,
Actually I had bought a plot in Bahria Town (Lahore) Block B (Umer Block). Although the plot is on a very nice road and only 3-4 plots away from the main 90 feet road - the situation in deteriorating by the day. I bout it for about 12 lacs and I don't think the prices have gone up too much.
I need to ask 2 questions:
-Firstly, how do the plots actually cost in the area( how much are they being sold for)
- What would you recommend as the best alternative investment if I sell this plot.
Thanks alot for ur help and guidance Azad K replied on Sunday, July 26, 2009 09:31 AM
I think the days of making quick profits from plots are over. Now you need to hold them for a few years at least to make any money.Better still only buy it to build on it. Every middle class family in Pakistan owns at least 2/3 plots already. Whatever you buy you must be prepared to hold for about 5 years. |

You did not mention the size of plot possibly it should be 8 Merla, In sector B Ali Block is rated best and then Usman and still lower Umar. As is thier Location from Main Road. The Price of Bahria Town Plots and houses is bit weak [about 10% low]these days. As they gained about 25% in last 2 years. The Bahria is very good Investment if you hold for long time. But the only problem is that they are imposing no construction Charges. Till date these are nominal but can increase in future. |
