i have visited this area last month with my group of investors. we have invested in over 400 kanals land just opposite to new islamabad airport. This is one reality and when these ads will be published in the news Tv channels. People will go crazy to invest in zone 2. developed schemes are already expensive and land near airport is now 6 to 12 lac per kanal. last year it was 1 to 2 lac per kanal.

Dear Mr. Nabeel! Do you see any road like shahrah-e-kashmir connecting islamabad to the new airport? While on the ground there is no development work going on the Kashmir Highway, even the tenders have been given but nothing happening. Its a common practice in islamabad that such kind of projects always take more than 10 years and if you see the NIIA site then its very clear that only the ground leveling is going and if the ground leveling couldn't be completed with in 2 years then how the project will be completed less then a 7-8 years time span?
If you know some information not in our knowledge, please post it. Thanks

New airport is directly connected with fateh jang road and i dont see that there will be any development on kashmir highway soon. In the beginning they will make a road directly from fateh jang road to connect the airport and as usual they will extend the motorway after looking at the pressure from general public. This is very old mentality. airport will be completed by the 2012 but overall infrastrure will take over 10 years. However in the investment point of view not a single kanal is available for sale near airport. civil aviation have acquired more space in 12 lac per kanal last year. There is one land available 200 kanal in 20 crore. land is almost 4 kilometer away from NIIAP.
