Salam everyone
I like to transfer CAD $ to Lahore/Pakistan. As of 31 July, I am geting 1 CAD$ = Rs75.79 exchange rate through Western Union. If I transfer from my CAD$ BANK ACCT in Canada to my Rs ACCT in Lahore/Pakistan, how much exchange rate difference would be? My bank here in Canada says they cannot tell me the exchange rate as they will be transfering CAD$. Please advise. Thank you.

Best to use a Pakistani Bank in Canada they will convert this Can $ in Rupees and transfer to your Rupees account directly. This way you are helping your country too.
The long version:
The exchange rate would be applied by your accound holding branch in Lahore the day they will credit your account with them. When your Bank in Canada receives your instructions to remitt so much Canadian dollar to your account in Pakistan The money will be wired in Canada to the corresponding Bank of your Pakistani bank. who will then be able to credit your banks account with them and that corresponding bank (in Canada) will instruct your Pakistani Bank's head office that we have credited your account with us for so much Canadian Dollar (they might deduct their charges)Please credit Mr.Info request account for equivalent to Canadian Dollar so an so without any charges to us. They will make money in exchange rate as every one does. I think Pakistani Banks have their international accounts with foregn banks in three currencies US Dollar,Great Britain Pound Sterling and Euro other currencies they receive equivalent to US Dollar.
I know how these private money transfer companies work. just to cut the story short they are ok for a small amount but unreliable.No good for our country.
Please don't use any of the above offers just wana keep you safe from those wanting to use you to launder their money. |

in missisauga on dundas street , there was a habib Metro bank or something like that, which transfers the money and tells u exact Pak rupees, which will be creditedinto your pak rupee A/c in Pakistan |
