You are right. There is only one water tank in M Block. That is the one which is umbrella syle or you could call it 'mushroom shape'. The other two block style water tanks are in other blocks. I would let you know what blocks they are in. I will do that when I go to the site next time. The 'mushroom' water tanks, I believe are inspired by the style of construction in the middle east. I personally think they hold less water and are less practical in other ways also. They do look stylish and futuistic though. Utilities buildings are built separately when there is a mushroom style water tank. In a box style tank, utilitiy buildings are easily incorporated in the design. Security and utilily offices are easily built under the 'box' water tank. This kind of tank also seems to hold more water. DHA started to build the umbrella style of tanks but now they have reverted back to the older 'box style'more practicl water tanks. |
