OPF Announces Sale of Plots in OPF Valley Zone-V Islamabad

The ISLAMABAD MARCH, 31 ( ) Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Dr. Farooq Sattar said that OPF is going to start receiving applications for allotment of 1100 residential plots in its housing scheme OPF Valley Zone-V, Islamabad from 1st April, 2009. He was addressing a press conference after chairing 110th OPF/BOG meeting held at OPF head office at Islamabad.
A LETTER TO ALL ALLOTTEES AND NEW APPLICANTS OF OPF HOUSING SCHEME ZONE - V ISLAMABAD

OPF feels pleasure in informing you that the devlopment works of OPF Housing Scheme Zone-V Islamabad are in progress at site by M/S Frontier Works Organization (FWO).
The Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis during press conference on 10th June 2009 has already announced that the proper allotment letters of plots to all those allottees who were alloted plots earlier and to the new applicants/allottees will be issued by 14th August,2009, the Independence Day of Pakistan.
We assure you that OPF being a Government organization is committed to handover he developed plots to its allottees. The development works can be witnessed at site at any time by you.


(But when the day come and all overseas Pakistanis were eagerly waiting for the result we heard that Minister has left for Umra so now the new date of allotment/balloting of plots is 21st August, 2009)


A LETTER TO ALL ALLOTTEES AND NEW APPLICANTS OF OPF HOUSING SCHEME ZONE - V ISLAMABAD

The new balloting date for allotment of plots to new applicants and earlier allottees is 21-Aug-2009.




We again start waiting for this new date but when the day comes OPF staff start telling us that we are instructed that complete and arrange the files of applicants.

Now we have some questions that

1- Minister announced the date 14th August 2009 on what basis and which logic was behind this announcement as he went for umra on this particular date.
2- Opf issued 2nd date i.e. 21st August 2009 on its own web site and later on said that we have not have the data for all applicants so the new date might be at the end of this month.



The amazing thing is this that minister is not available, GM (acting) is not available to comment plus when we tried to contact his phone line (+) the attendant told that this is not OPF number we are from telephone company and shifting the telephone lines they shut the line when they were asked that if this is not OPF then which office is this.

In brief every body in OPF is trying to escape from the people questions. Please don’t do this practice as we are already too much behind as a nation.

Now it is better to approach the media, as news paper and a tv station approach them and make them answerable that why they are doing this? Now this thing came in their knowledge that they need to complete the documentation as the OPF start receiving applications and amount from 1st April 2009 and last date was 15th of May 2009.

Can we imagine that OPF want to earn profit on the oversea Pakistani’s amount and facilitate some special people.

For God Sake leave eating and do the right thing for which the nation elect you.
