Dear All,
I am an overseas Pakistani and want to find out answer to a property related question.
My auntie (Khala) died few months ago. She did not merry and has left a house. My mother died prior to death of my khala. I have one Mamu and one Khala who are alive.
My question is, would I get inheritance from the house left by my late Khala.

Dear FM
I am afraid you will not get any thing. Since your mother was not alive at the time of death of of your Khala,she or her offsprings can not inherit any thing.Only your Khala's siblings living at the time of her death are entitled according to Pakistani/Islamic law of inheritance |

Well Wisher is correct from ISLAMIC RULES point of view. But as per Pakistani rules, he is entitled to have his mother's share even his mother died before the death of his Khala. You may check with some WAKEEL SAHIB. |

Is there any ratio for ones' brothers,sisters and parents while the deceased has his own children and wife?
What is the role of a WILL and who makes it in Pakistan? |
