Zakkat Issue,

I have own 2 plots and i am an overseas pakistani living outside of country and i have no home for myself.

my plane is to make a home.

2nd plot i will sale and with that money i will build the house on my ist plot.

so in this case i have to give zakkat on that. please guide.

From what I understand you will have to give zakat on 2nd plot which u intent to sell based on market value

I have an Excel worksheet to calculate zakat on various heads such as gold,silver, agriculture product land/property,cash etc but there is no provision on this page to attach such worksheet. If you are interested, drop your e-mail ID and will reply back with attached worksheet.

lets suppose if i sale out both plots on market price in future and buy a home for me. then in that case how u will guide me ?

It solely depends on your neeah, if your intention at the time when you were buying these plots was the same that you have mentioned, then you dont have to pay zakat on either of them.

well, any property which has been placed useless and 1 yr has been passed then you have to pay zakat on that.. but let suppose you are renting that land frequently, then zakat don't apply.. similarly, if your land is used for crops then also zakat don't apply.. similarly let suppose you sell this land before zakat apply, and buy another land in same price then also zakat don't apply on it. I hope that clarify something...

Not at all!
Dear 'whatever" we should not speak on such issues unless we are damn sure about it.If both the plots have been bought with sole intention of constructing a home to live in, then you dont need to pay zakat on both of them, no matter how long they keep lying useless.
