Now you can see update of opf web-site how they are making fool to overseas Pakistani for balloting of plot after software update . This update can take unlimited time.
Because they are asking document after last date and they never accept incomplete application it looks like some thing wrong .

They hired kids to pull out name of applicants one by one and the kid get tired. 800 plus pieces of paper! the kid refused and then OPF relize kid also not helpfull to overseas like OPf. Then they run here and there and some one told them let computer do it in a few minutes. The time to have this software is not the responsibilty of OPF. They saying looking for suitable people to do the job. So sabar ka pal meta hota hain. A year or two delay will make it sweet like honey, sweet nice honey.

THEY ARE A F'KING JOKE, MY FATHER HAS WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS TO BE RESOLVED, HE IS NOW IN IS 80'S UNLIKELY HE WILL EVER SEE A HOME BACK IN HIS OWN LAND. MIS-MANAGEMENT, CORRUPTION AND INCOMPETENCE SPRINGS TO MIND. I COULD RIGHT THEM A RANDOM GENERATOR THAT WILL DO THEIR BALLOTING IN AN HOURS, I GUESS THIS IS ANOTHER SCHEME TO PALM SOME MONEY OFF TO THEIR PALS, AND NO DOUBT WILL ADD MORE DELAY. OUT OF ALL THE EXCUSES ONE COULD THINK OF THEY NEEDED A PROGRAM TO DO THEIR BALOTING THEY MUST BE RUNNING OUT OF EXCUSES. MAY BE THEY NEED A PROGRAM TO RANDOMLY SELECT EXCUSES FOR FUTURE DELAYS

SHAME ON THEM, WELFARE OF OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS ... I DON'T THINK THEY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS. i HOPE THE NEXT GENERATION THAT LEADS THE COUNRTY IS NOT CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH...

Very sad indeed. I hope they fix the problem soon. But such things also are lessons for all people to invest and purchase plots for home building only in trustable, tried societies like DHA, Bahria etc.

If they are honest they can ask CDA or DHA or IBM to do balloting on the behalf of OPF
if they need a foreign exchange they can open a special window with in 24 hours .

ISLAMABAD (February 03 2009): Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis , Dr Farooq Sattar has said that new housing schemes will be launched and educational network will be expanded for the overseas Pakistanis. Their problems will be solved on priority basis and maximum welfare projects will be started for them.

Shame on OPF and all OPF staff
I paid money more than 14 yrs but still no development.
All OPF organisation talk for OPF pakistanis is rubbish.
They need only foreign exchange from overseas pakistanis.
Look at FERC. I never found staff at airport counter designated for FERC card holder.
