How much Pakistan owes to IMF?

Pakistan is going thru a very difficult time & would like to know is Pakistan Govt doing anything to have the the IMF loans wavied off?

Keep in mind Pakistan is helping US & other nations in so called WAR ON TERRORISM.

It is not only the IMF that Pakistan has borrowed money from. Pakistan also owe money to World Bank, and several individual countries.
This is the money that Pakistan has borrowed from sources out side of Pakistan. Pakistan has also borrowed trillions of rupee from within Pakistan from individual depositors, for which Pakistan govt pays billions of rupee in interest.

Not sure about the exact total debt, but it is somewhere between 40-50 Billion US Dollars.

Thank you A. Khan Sahib. The reason I am asking during the Gulf War, some countries in middle east got their loans wavied off just for siding with US.

How Pakistanis are dare to ask IMF for waiving off loans. Where is their so called "Gharit".Our nation should know that USA contributes more than 50% amount to IMF.
