It is absolutely amazing that people cannot understand a very, very simple truth: it is WE ourselves who are responsible for this mess. If we refuse to be bought, bribed and sold by any outsider, be it USA, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, anyone, then NO ONE can do anything much to us.
Pls read the above again: it is WE (and NOT anyone else) who is responsible.
We should support the Army in this hour of action. These illiterate, half-mad, brain-washed, ignorant jihadis, who think it is only they who know Islam and the rest of the world knows nothing, it is such people who have brought us to this position.
Since these animals will not listen to reason; since they feel that it is only by exploding bombs, killing defenceless women, children and men can Islam be spread; since they feel that any method of reasoned discussion, analysis and discourse is wrong; since they feel that it is only they who know, and the rest of us are just fools; then, in that case, I feel that they should be repaid in the very same coin.
I support the Army action. This is in OUR interest, not in the interest of the USA, or India, or anyone else. It is in PAKISTAN's own interest. We should have the guts and courage to say NO to such misbeguided people who want to dictate to us, who kill or children and who want to impose a retrograde, outdated, barbaric and ignorant system upon the country.
The Pakistanis DO NOT want them, nor their brand of what they feel is Islam, but what the rest of the country does not feel is Islam.
Let us be clear: this is NOT about religion at all. This about power, brute power. This is about living a way of life which is dictated to us by these illiterate people. The people of Pakistan don't need any lessons in Islam from these criminals. We well know what our religion is, and we know how to live it. Islam did not come in the last 20~25 years, and it did not come from South Waziristan etc. We don't need any lectures by such people who are themselves the epitome of ignorance and barbarism.
We have to stand up, as a nation, and reject these barbarians. There is simply no alternative. |
