Can anyone shed some light on Bank Alfalah housing society? The url is www.alfalahhousing.com.

ANy idea on price estimate, location & as to when can development take place? Is it worth buying a plot over there as the management is present a very rosy picture, but no development on the groud except a billboard and green fields?

Any experts especially CMY Bhai... your expert opinion is awaited.

Last I checked about few months ago Bank AlFalah Housing Society rates are same as their official booking prices.

I never had a deal in this scheme and dont know any dealer that activly deals in this housing scheme.

Alfalah Housing Society is a well planned society and devlopment work is going to start very shortly. The plots were offered to the employees and sponsors of Abu Dahabi Group of Compnaies and are still with them. It will be one of tha state of the Art Socities in Lahore. The plots are being traded very seldom and mostly among the professionals of Corporate Sector only.
DHA is also going to approach them for acquisition very shortly.

This society is for the employees of Bank Alfalah,Wateen,Warid Telecom,Alfalah Insurance Alfalah GHP and Razi Health care.Abu dhabi world richest group is behind the society.They have other invesments like UBL etc in Pakistan as well.
Land of the society is solely acquired for the employees and family members of the group.Trading activity is not there because of the fact they havnt openly advertised and brought into market.Society would be possibly developmed by Malaysian company and would be a Masterpiece based on Greece,Spanish and Mediterranean Housing perspevtive.
Location is near bedian Road.Country home Chohan developers,Bankers avenue ,Bhatti farms and Bharia Oasis farm houses are closeby.
Its hardly 5-8 mins drive from phase 5 &phase 6.Likewise close to Airport and future Ringroad.It has been also heard mangment of the society has offered Punjab govt they can build the expand Bedian road at their own expense.Highly recommended and sound Investment.

i own a three canal plot and works for Wateen Telecom.I see good prospects of the society.They have plots of 15 marlas,1.5 canal and 3 canals.

can any update me the exect address of Alflah as i think reading above mails its somewhere near ring road juction on bedian road. How much drive further from there?
and also its current rates and map, if anyone can provide or give me its link.

Huge add was advertised in All newspapers for inviting developers.
Out of almost 250 developers few have been shortlisted.Society wud be one of its kind.

Currently Bank Alfalah is trying to develop the housing society in Bedian Road, Lahore. This is near Tatla Village in Lahore.

1) they are trying to acquire the land but facing problems such as that people are unwilling to sell their land so right now they are unable to proceed ahead. Consider a football field, with left goal and right goal. they have entire area from left pole with them and entire area from right pole but the problem is that they are unable to acquire the land from the center which is a property of few individuals.

2) they have acquired some land but Lahore border committee has registered a case against them for not taking the NOC before buying the land from original seller. This is not their fault as no one was aware of the fact that they have to get the NOC before buying or selling the land. This is the land which was allotted to serving officers/soldiers of armed forces between year 1959-63. Now since all those officers who have served armed forces at that time have died so army now wants to snatch that land from their families and award them to retiring generals. As the families of died officers (1959-63) wont be able to defend them selves against a stupid rule which was never told to them or even distributed through regular mail.
