two holidays/Week,

i am against this suggestion .

reason is this that we already do not work ..

if we get two holidays,then there will be another non working day .

so it will be very difficult for people to get their work done especially in Govt departments where people do not work

since we do not work at office anyway, so its better to not work at home!

bad suggestion even if we not work. Especialy for our kids. we had already start closing our schools callages because of bad security in the country. One more day off a week will mean to bring an end to the up down running educational system in the country. This day off should not apply on our education dept.

I believe this is good suggestion subject to holidays on Friday and Saturday and not Saturday Sunday. Usually Friday is already half day off at many offices.

I am amazed why we act so ignorant and discuss things which are already tried and tested across the World. There are 2 holidays in a week in almost every single country in the World. Schools in Pakistan already have 2 holidays in a week. Almost all Multinationals and other private companies already have 2 holidays a week. Are these multinationals less productive then Govt. offices ?

Having 2 holidays in a week give you enough time to relax spend time with your families., DO household chores and work in a relaxed manner for the rest of the 5 days. Just one holiday a week means you are stressed the whole week and also try to take time out from your office hours for your personal things.

I do agree with Abid Ali Bahi and with due respect disagree with ASK. We are livining in folish Paradize in which people befool us due to having bad system. We have already nothing to do and if two leaves are imposed on us, then imagine what else we do except indulging in bad practice of fights etc.
Mr. ASK refering multinationals or other developed countries who alreadying experiencing this kind of facility succesffuly but ASK should understand that where we stand with our poor managment and system. To do any decision with confidence or logic can produce results but since our PPP Govt has failed to cop our problems, they are applying very simple and alternative solutions.
So I do favour the arguments of all except ASK

I will go with the words of ABD partially. Holidays must be too but on Thursday & Friday.
