now a days there is condition of fear every where in pakistan.there are bomb blasts ,schools are closed.people prefer to sit in their homes.all the investers are just calm .
there is real battle between the many forces in pakistan.
on political front ,we know that there is battle between presedent and parliment for power.army is another partner who has influence..judiciarey is also closely watching the things and is trying to tell that they are the real decision makers.
on the other side our few tribal brothers have guns in their hands and they say that that they are the revolutanery force against this corrupt system of 60 years which will never change with out gun and bloodshed.
Allah knows what will happen next....
but
one thing is sure that in this condition the biggest foreign investors who have mainly invested in property will run and is running..
so i am not seeing very good future of property investment........
Future of pakistan is bright only
if
we link Health,education with empolyment
and provide safe enviornment to investors and every pakistani.
we have to build our nation from roots..i mean from homes to school .nation should be trained on moral grounds..
but these moral ground training will work when we latter provide social justice also to this youth..
one cause of this bombing is social in justice and difference between rich and poor also..
we have to crush the fudel system like india..
but
how????
when our 80% parliment is fudel having all grip on Atta,suger etc..???
in the end only one pray

i agree with the sincere remarks of my brother. our political parties are not worth governing this country. that's why martial laws were imposed time and again. |

I agree with my Pakistani brother, while living abroad since twenty years I can feel the feelings of overseas Pakistanis . They know that they are sons of Pakistan and God has given them a chance to serve their nation but they do not invest because of our rulers and are waiting for good governance in Pakistan. Our overseas brothers can invest so much that Pakistan will not need any loan or aid from IMF, World Bank or USA and our many problems will be solved after economic stability.
But now they trust only Imran Khan and are waiting for him.
I am a simple Pakistani and being out of Pakistan I have never voted. |

Lets not be so pessimistic. We see a ray of light in the shape of media which is really doing commendable job these days. Every channel is full of stories that are exposing these corrupt elements. And let us not label them as a whole. There are still poeple out there who want to do good for the country. I see a big change in the thinking of poeple. Now they all are agreed on the point that majority of these politicians are looters and plunderers. If media continues to do its job independently then no government will stay in power if it does not perform. The power of electronic media can be gauged from the Chief Justice case. As regards real estate. There are always genuine buyers and sellers in the market. Expats are still invsting in Pakistan after the Dubai bubble burst. They still want to invest in established societies (wont name any) and construct or buy houses and plots. The bottom line is that lets not be so disappointed. Pakistan has the best human resource in the whole world. Let us forget what the governments do. Let us all join hands together and do whatever we can at our levels and always ask a question "what have i done for my country till day?" |

There are few positives also:-
1. The entire Nation supports Military action against terrorists. This was not the case in Musharraf's time.
2. There is increase in patriotism and Overseas Pakistanis are more patriotic. They have greater commitment and are willing to invest in Pakistan in spite of the discreditted polititians at the top.
3. The prime minister seems to be above the board, I hope he has inner character strength.
4. Media is doing excelent job.
5. The Chief Judge is concious of the fact that judiciary has to prove worthy of the National trust.
6. opposition is aware and alive.
7. American are concerned about the politico-economic situation and surely they and others will help, our response on Kerry Lugar legislation has sent positive signals to the World that we are a Nation of self respect.
The negatives are there and I totally agree but then I am optimistic, Inshallah we will be back on the track.

I am glad to see a lot of positive responses. Here are positive points I am seeing in Today's Pakistan.
- Media
- Courts (SC,HC etc)
- Pak Army
- One voice against terrorism
The following things we need to build
- Good education system
- Get rid of corrupted politicians. The answer is democratic system.
The encourging thing is that political parties are making very good progress on Balochistan issue. You may see a comprehensive package for Balochistann in near future.
Lets be optimistic and work for progress of our homeland.
Believe me if we are united and strong interanlly then we can easily beat evil forces ( India, America, and Taliban) that are working against the progress and prosprity of my mother land. |
