When is the expected DHA-8/ Park view ballot? Should I sell my holdings in Parkview files and if I do so what should I opt for if at all.
*CMY I know you are very busy but a reply will be highly appreciated

I will wait for DHA to announce the ballot of DHA 8 within few weeks time. Park view files are very likely not to be part of this upcoming ballot.
Please don't ask me for reason here. Price action of Park view is big enough indicator for all of us. |

Today I did see few teams of DHA Lahore staff in DHA phase 8 doing surveys of lands that are normally done just before the start of development work. When I asked them when the ball is going to be rolled they said within 120 days.
One more important thing DHA phase 7 P block park is going to be moved from current locations. If you have a plot in lower part of P block chances are good it will be moved to area now marked as park. Its suggested that you buy cheapest plot in lower area and may get much better plot in upper area of P block. Park is LIKELY to be moved to lower part of water tank.
Please keep in mind I have beed telling you for long time DHA 7 map will be revised soon. And now I believe new map will be available within next 90 to 120 days. |

respected cmy sahib please tell something about parkview we r much worried to make our houses in parkview after 2,3 years.how much time will take parkview ballot. |

look at the post below ,i have already told u ballotting is in march 2010.n i assure u it will be a ballotting of dha 8 proper n dha 8 parkview.
dont offload ur files at throw away price
park view ballotting is expected in march 2010.both files of every size is being accomodated ,nothing is going across the barki road.

DHA ( all three) have to continiously develop new phases to accomodate Army officers according to their revised authorization at different milestones of the length of their service. There are about 20000 Army officers and according to (Revised) authorization evry year a sizeable mumber of officers (about 800 to 1000) are eligible for a plot at the completion of 15 years service.In addition more plots are also needed for officers who reach higher service brackets. I don't know exact statistics but my fair guess is about 1500 new plots every year. Three years back Lahore DHA started development of Phase 7, it should start development of Phase 8 in the next six months time to clear the backlog. It can only start develoment if it has a town plan and has also done allotment to receive development funds from its members. |
