EHS D-16 Islamabad,

Dear CMY sahib or other experts,

I am one of the affectees of Engineers Housing Scheme (EHS), D-16 Islamabad.

The scheme was considered fake as detailed in one of the news papers.

Now I got a letter written by a retired army officer (may be a new hire) from Engineers Housing Scheme to pay development charges and also pay cost of land. I have already invested about PKR 1 million for a 356 sq yds plot for which I am unable to get any refund or even sell it in open market.

Where as there's no development plans approved yet from CDA, Islamabad.

Please guide should I pay more money to EHS? If not please help me and other affectees of Engineers Housing Scheme to bring this up to the attention of CDA officials and probably NAB.

Its sad, there may be many more effected individuals.... I am from Lahore working in KSA.I also applied there and paid the first installment 395,000 PKR for 356 sq yard. On second installment I decided to visit physically the society office in Islamabad. Unfortunately, I was shocked to learn the bad reputation of the owner that came to my knowledge upon talking the various people of the area. I did not pay the second installment and applied immediately for cancellation. They were not happily agreed to refund my money. Finally they refunded after long struggle (took 5-6 months) by deducting 18% (almost 80,000 PKR). Today even I lost 80,000 I feel that I made a right decision. Trust me they are thieves, looters, do not pay them and try to quit as quickly as possible.
Request other friends to share their expenereience.

Brother, better not to pay any more...if you want plot in Islamabad then better to buy in G-16 or E-16 in quite cheap price. And these schemes are real and you can visit personally to see the area and development works.

I would always recommend that before you invest at least check with CDA to ensure that the society has an NOC. This does at least reduce the risk to your investment.

They don't have any website, coz it's semi-govt schemes and alloties are the employees' of Governmental Organizations. Best way is to visit physical at the society location.

Hello, I'm curious to know if there is any update on EHS D16. Last year I was told that I won a corner plot on commercial road and I should pay additional 3.5 Lakhs. I did that and have not received anything after that. Is it still a legit scheme? I live in US and have no local contact to confirm. many thanks.
