In DHA phase 1 to 4, 5 merla Old house costs about 50 Lac and 10 merla Old House cost about 80 to 85, These are few years old houses with good living conditions. You can Find 10 merla House in about 65 Lac but you will have to Compromise so many things. In july I fond a single story house in N Block phase 1 If I recall it was 213 to 200 Line Mid way which needed either demolition or Thorough renovation. I think if you are Committed to live in such a house then you can give Email I can forward you details, almost every agent who deal in old houses knows this property. Another option was in phase 1 D 294 number a Plot with lesser front Block on Boundary,{I Could not see this House from inside] Though demand of these houses was 70 to 75 but dealer gave me tip that their worth is between 60 to 65. Please also take into account that transfer of houses costs about 3 Lac plus dealer commission. If You buy such a house it will be very difficult to resell.
