Dear Readers,
I am looking to build a Kanal house (1-3 years) or possibly buy an apartment in Lahore. I would like to know if Bahria Orchard is a good option. Is it already populated? If not, do you think it will be populated within 1-2 years?
If Bahria Orchard is not a good option, can you recommend another Bahria location? I would like to purchase in DHA but the land cost is too high. Land budget is about 35 lakh.

BT Orchard is a V V bad idea if you wana build a house it will take atleats 3-5 years to fully develop and 10-15 years to populate. Even for investment i don't think it is good until 80% of the plots in the map are developed. In your budget you can easily buy a 1 kanal plot in Sector C BT of a very good location. In your time frame the value of the plot will increase as well as the sector will be heavily populated. |

I have built my house in HBFC Society(155 B 18 marla)(One kanal). This is a small society where most of the plots comprise of one kanal or 2 kanal. Only about 20 plots are of 10 marla. This society is surrounded by DHA Phase5 on the one hand and Sui Gas society on the other side. Its gate is right on the service road of Ring Road (Package 16 and 17).It has underground wiring.Two Houses have been completed and occupied by owners, while two are under construction.
Price range s between 32 to 35 lac per kanal depending on the location of plot. Plots size for one kanal varies 18 marla or roughly 19 marla.
I can help in bulding house as my daughter is architect from NCA and has experience in construction as we built 3 houses , one in defence, waris road and one is under construction in DHA6.
