I need urgent help.
I am planning to visit Pakistan in January and want to buy a plot urgently of 1K.
a: Which scheme is best for house construction within 5 years
Valencia
Fazai
Bahria
State life

Also if you know the price range of these societies

b: How long time (very important) will it take to get Qabza/papers clarified and/or plot registry. I have only 20 days of holidays and want to invest 40 Lacs and the whole process must finished within 10 -15 days.

Yes it is possible to complete all the legal formalities within your stay. However you need to start looking at plots as soon as you land.

I think from your list Valencia would be the best choice as it is the most populated at the moment.

Dear sir you can add DHA phase8 to your list, price is attractive.
If you want to live around Multan Road/Thokar, Bahria & SukhChayn Garden are Good, If you want to live around Cantt, DHA8 is the best. Valencia is good but too far...and price is quite high.

Dr. sb please consider AWT Phase 2 also as it is fully developed, possession offered and houses are under construction. No Qabza Group, housing scheme controlled by Pakistan Army.

Price of 10 Marlas around 10 lacs

Fazaia development is its final stages and planned to hand over possession in Feb 2010 gradually block wise. Kanal plot range is 20 - 22 lacs. Can be transfered immediately. Transfer procedure is transparent like DHA. The society is to be taken over by DHA in due course. Wish you best of luck

Go for State Life Phase II. Current price of best located plot is maximum 14-15 lacs with all dues cleared. So No more to pay upon pocessesion. Whereas, DHA 9/10 would be having long awaited balloting then DHA administration will give you a plan for development charges. If U trust, and visit SL Phase I then you would believe that 1k plot is still possible with this meagre price within 5 years of time frame. Mind U these plots went upto 35 lacs of price in the past boom.
