DHA GOLDCREST & WORLD TRADE CENTER IN DHA PHASE-2
DHA annonced the 15 tower of 20 to 37 stories including Residential Apartments in DHA phase-2. The Alhuair Giga from UAE is client, IJM & Bina Goodears was the contractors from Malaysia. After one year the left the work and went to their home because DHA did not payed them money. Now Two uncomplete towers with 8 stories can be seen from G.T. Road also. Now no company is willing to complete this project.
No other Contractor company is willing to work with DHA Islamabad. EMMAR (UAE) left the job. IJM, Bina Goodears from malysia left teir jobs also.
Only Habib rafiq is working on development of DHA projects. Their money is also blocked in DHA projects and company is near to defalut.HRL money has also blocked in DHA projects and work is stopped at all projects expect DHA Expressway and DHA Homes which is financed by Bahria Town. I am loyal to DHA but in know the exact situation and i don't want that DHA should loot the Hard earned money of Pakistani People.
People should make Case in Courts about completion of these projects as well as about the Additional development charges charged to them with time by time.
My Suggestions to DHA official.
1. DHA should spent money on the projects for which they have collected the money from plot members.
2. Work pace should be kept fast.
3. Instate of Huge project like DHA Valley & Phase-2 Extension of 1.5 laks kanal area, they should launch project having only 10 thousand to 15000 kanal area like Phase-2 and Ex-Commoners town. They should build smaller portion and give possessions and then start new portion rather they Launch those huge area project more than the area of Islamabad which will never be completed in time and will take decays.
The 10 years is minimum for those projects which i told. Looking to current pace of work it can take 20 to 30 years estimated.
4. At least Maps of the project should be finalized before launch of any project.
5. The file system should be eliminated. Only plot should be sold. The file means no plot.
6. DHA should stop acquiring the land forcedly from people to build the scheme.
7. Every Project Time period should be given before start and the time period should be strictly monitored by them.
8. DHA should purchase the land of that project before launching any projcet.

Dear Brother Saleem,
I have booked one shope in World Trade Center Islamabad & it is project of Al Gurair Giga and paying installments regularly. You mentioned in yourpost that all companies left the job a year ago.
Please need your advice regarding Al Gurair Giga projects, are we continue to pay installaments?

It's a common sense question, why would you pay if nothing is built over there??
You can ask for your money back , they can cut a defined portion of your deposit and give your money back. |
