Dear CMY
I am constructing a house on a 35x70 plot at G-13 Islamabad through a local contractor. The house contains basement, ground and fisrt floor and one room with bath (servant room) on roof. In total it has 6 beds, 3 kitches, 5 baths, 2 drawing and dinning rooms. Total constrcution cost is around 95 lakh that incudes everything. Per sq ft. rate is around Rs. 1675. Now the house is almost complete, final finishing work is underway which is scheduled to be completed by April. I am paying the contractor on monthly basis i.e. 5 to 8 lakh a month.
I know you are also constructing a house in Lahore. From your personnel experience do you think construction cost I am paying is too high?

it is normal cost/ft2 for turn key projects. |

If it is a turn key operation, the materials used are of good quality and all CDA standards are meet (including quake resistant) the price is fair. You are not getting ripped off :-) |

I do not know all this But if we multiply 35X70 by 1675 then this comes to Rs.4103750 which is 41 lack and you mentioned 95 lack.
Do you include the price of the plot. |

xy sqft area means the covered area which is basement+Ground floor+Ist Floor+ Mumty on roof top. |
