I have one question please!
My child, who is a RP holder of one of the Gulf States, is visiting us just for 04 days and when she returns back we want to send a brand new washing machine (Fully Automatic) with her.
Could you please tell me that how much would be the total Custom and Duty on that washing machine?
Please do not give the web page of the CBR as they are not telling in black & white about the tax!
They are only telling the percentages of the Custom and Duty but how much is the amount of custom and duty, they as silent as a dead person, may be, for obvious reasons!
Could you help me please?

My fiend Dirham is Rs 23 Now, Minimum price of Good machine here in Gulf is 1200X23 for Front Loading and 900X23 For Top Loading [all fully Automatic] In Pakistan only Top Loading is sucessful because of loadshedding, why your daughter dont Vist Makro/metro or carrefour in Lahore and Buy for you Fully automatic machine ranging from 25000 to 35000
You will get after sale service easily in Pakistan. And will pay only 7000 to 12000 extra.
2nd thing is she cant bring machine with her and will have to book in cargo which will cost Rs 10000 to 15000 Extra |

Thanks very much for taking your time and replying me.
Actually I bought one made by LG and it is Top loading. Works very nice and control panel is very simple, although fully computerized. It costs Pak Rs 21,000.
Is LG washing machine available in Pakistan, especially in Islamabad Metro where it is intended to go? |

You are 100% correct.I want to request to all Oversease friends please donot waste the money on weight , custom & duty with lot of trouble .While you have better choice in Pakistan specially in Lahore, Islamabd and Karachi,
every thing is available. |

Yes LG is available in lahore but I am not sure for Islamabad, must be 6 Kg should be abot 28K |

I agree with Habib Sahib. And also confirm that you can easily get it in Islamabad and the price range is in between Rs.25,000/= to Rs.30,000/= |

All sorts of washing machines and other electronics goods of all leading brands including L.G. are easily available in Pakistn. There is no need to pass through the hassle of shipping such goods while coming to Pakistan. |
