Dear CMY
What is the logic to attest CNIC or NICOP as it says in application form that these two cards must be attested. Who will attest these cards is not mentioned in application but I assume pakistani consulates abroad. Besides in terms and conditions they mentioned about passport copy as well.
DHA is troubling overseas pakistanis about this attestation as overseas pakistanis live far from Pakistani consulates or missions abroad and it is very difficult for them to take off from their jobs and travel all the way to pakistani consulates to get attestation of CNIC or NICOP.It involves a full day.
Was it not simple for DHA to ask overseas pakistanis to just attach only a copy of the passport plus photographs afterall these passports are issued by the govt.of pakistan whether issued in pakistan or abroad.

Just attach a un attested photo copy. We submit unattested photo copy daily and DHA accepts it. |
