Dear CMY: May I ask you and other friends, especially those who are living in Askari.
I want buy an apartment in Askari-iv, karachi. According to the sales agent, i have to pay full amount 90 lacs and at the moment i will get the apartment on power of attorney & sales deed will be done later after the present owner paid full amiount to GHQ.
I am not sure what to do? Please advice.

that is not safe
Ususally the process is army welfare society asks the the allotee army officer to pay 30 or 35 Lac [what is due] You make the Biana of that amount . Army officer pays all the amount and then ask for possession of house which takes about 6 months. Then he applies for NOC to sell house. GHQ isses that NOC it gain takes some time. Later You apper in GHQ for interview and sequrity if you pass the house is transferred in Your name and usual tranfer to civillian is about 6 Lac for 250 yard house |
