DHA Lahore Phase 8 Available Plots
2 Kanal Plots = 169
1 Kanal Plots = 7203
10 Marla Plots = 275
8 Marla Plots = 64
5 Marla Plots = 443
Total Plots = 8154
Please note in every ballot DHA allot one 5 marla plot to its employees that serve over 10 years. Normally about 100 to 200 plots are alloted in this category in each major ballot. They may or may not allot 5 marla plots in this ballot to their employees. Also note since we have only 275 plots in current map of DHA 8 I think chance of Parkview files coming to this ballot are now less than 1%. Not a good news for Parkview files but its a fact that there are over 1000 files of 10 marla in Parkview.
Please note files price of 10 marla and even one kanal rose this morning. I am not able to understand why their price is up. Practically its hard to find Parkview 1 kanal and 10 marla files. Since only few people hold large number of Parkview files and give their selling rate above 18 lacs for 10 marla and 28 lacs for one kanal they are able to keep asking rate higher due to the fact their are no weak hearted seller for Parkview in market.
I may be wrong but I think max 64 plot of 8 marla, max 250 plots of 5 marla, max 275 plots of 10 marla, max 500 plots of one kanal and max 100 plots of 2 kanal may go for installment plots ballot. Again I may be wrong here and this info is just a guess based on map reading and past history of DHA ballots.

CMY sir there was news in Value TV today that there will be meeting of DHA directors today or tomorrow to look into matters of DHA phase 8 and lack of public interest in ballot .....Do u have any idea about it ...Do u see people applying in great number in reality or is there lack of interest ?
There was discussion on TV that its little unfair game being played by dha like bahira town in past...for 500 5 marla plots even if they get 10000 application they will collect 5 corores ....this looks more like an unfair mean to make money .... application fee should not be more than 1000 considering odds of getting plot |

I am 90% sure that DHA will have to extend the date of Ballot. It is first time DHA is "selling" plots in big phase. Previously mostly it had been files of allotments at very low rates like in Phase 7. In past DHA has sold mostly DHA houses and commercial plots.
My question is what will be the case if DHA does not get sufficient number of kanal and 2 Kanal applicats? This is really a test for strained property market. in few days ballot will clearly indicate what will be direction in near future. In case most of applicat get plots as happened in DHA islamabad and Bahria Orchard then it will a bad sign.
I would have been more happy if DHA must have converted at least 1/3 of this phase in 10 merla Plots. The map of DHA 8 does not deserve to be called a nicely planned posh area. |
