Transfer fee for 1 kanal is Rs. 30,000. (No idea for 10M.) AWT transfer office is in Rawalpindi. They have their Real Estate Office at 6th floor, Askari Bank Building, The Mall, Rawalpindi. Both seller and purchaser have to be present at the time of transfer in their office. Transfer procedure is very simple. If there are any dues pending AWT will ask the seller to first clear the dues by way of demand draft or pay order. They will send transfer letter in the name of new purchaser within 3/4 weeks by mail to their office which is located at their site office at AWT 2 Raiwind road, Lahore, and then after verification they will personally deliver you the same.

Rashid Sahib I will add to the reply of MJM as follows:-
1. Transfer fee for Kanal as well as 10 Marla both is Rs. 31000/-
2. For Kanal, CVT is Rs. 50000/- in addition to Transfer Fee.
3. Transfer can also be carried out at site offices but record/files are maintained in Main Office ie AWT Plaza Rawalpindi.
4. Transfer procedure is simple as well transparent

My information is as of Nov. 09. I got my 1 Kanal plot transferred and there was no CVT. May be it started after that time. As far as transfer at site offices is concerned, it takes longer time than in AWT Plaza, Rawalpindi, because each and every transaction has to be gone through Pindi office.
