The discussion number 46955 talk about extra charges imposed by BT administration. Is it true and is it their normal practice?
Please advise as I am looking to buy a plot in BT Lahore sector C.

sir for 1 k in BT sector C u need orginal cost + possession + map aproval+ utility connection that is approximately 4 lakh 50 thousand extra on plot price. FOr ten marla it is half. Also if u purchase u need to pay transfer fee + 1000 for validation of file fee also. |

I have seen people advertising to sell their plots, does these fees already includes in those prices except transfer fee or they are not included? |

Similarly the price mentioned on this website is including such fees or excluding? I believe such things should be mentioned along with the prices.
One last question is regarding map approval fee; what does that mean? Do they get approval on our behalf for this fee or what? Does this also means that you have to have a map before buying a plot?

for 10 marla in developed blocks 67000 and nondeveloped block 23000. 1 K is double of this.(transfer fee in sector C BT.) |

Dear SAAD . After getting posseion of plot you have to visit BT design office. For 1K plot map approval for your house they will charge 65000. IF u want to have made map by them then 70000 more i.e 135000. After map approval by BT u have to vist LDD ofice to get it approved. There u ahve to pay again house map approval fee. I asked the design incharge of BT that if I ahve to et house map approved from LDA then why I ahve to pay 65000? they said it is policy. IF u want to get house constructed then u have to pay this money. IT is money to allow construction of house. Similary 120000 for utility connections. I asked then what abour 4500000 development charges I paid? What u mean by development. FOr me development includes each and every thing. But they said you ahve to pay or you can not get any conection for utilites. The prices mentioned here are exclusive of all these charges. |
