dear all

i buy a ten marla house in gulshan ravi.and in month of may i am travelling to pakistan( i am overseas pakistani),could some one let me know the regestry fee or another charges i would have to pay.as it is lda scheeme,or its procedure

i will appreciate the respone from my friends.....

don't exactly know the transfer charges (no registry as it is LDA scheme). however, sad to say that they might ask u unofficial 25000/- or more for no reason ----- just for processing ur case. One of my friend bought a 5M house in sabzazar scheme which is LDA scheme and all formalities, charges/fees were completed/paid BUT concerned officials said rs.25,000/- are fixed charges u have to pay to get ur file processed..... and my friend paid the same, no PR successful......
i had to pay rs.4000/- just to get the correct/valid/legal construction plan approved for 10M house in addition to all the official charges. (they said it is 8,000/- for 1-kanal).

i would recommend u to post on this forum if they DO NOT ask u to pay extra charges, just for the sake of GOOD FEELING.

You(buyer) and seller will have to present yourself in the office of Asst. Director, LDA. The office is in Johar Town, Lahore

When ever you need to know some thing please metion your shot name at lest.

There is trasfer fee that is fixed as per area & rigistry fee acording to the value up to May and also 10% tax after june, so try to do the deal before june .It is Lda scheeme but you must check record from lda office.
For your help 80 to 85 lakhs is price for 10 Marla double portion House in Ravi Town Lahore.Further help if you require write me on my mail address
