Sorry, My question/Inquiry is not related to property But I Know This platform is always helpfull.I lost the original book for the motorbike i bought for my son during my visit to pakistan .It was transfered to my name.I need help/advise regarding the issue of duplicate book while i an abroad but my brother is in Lahore.Is this possible to send authority letter on my brothers name to get the duplicate book.I have all other document except the original log book (only photocopy).I dont know the current rules and the ways to do this so asking for your advise.Thanks

First of all Register FIR
Then some one go to post office with an application and copy of FIR, Post office will issue a letter showing that last token paid on dated--------- . After that contact excise department where motors are registered. Blood relation an pursue the case on your behalf if u give him authority o plain paper. For other persons authority letter duly attested by embassy will require.Before start obtain information from Lahore excise office. I am telling u about Islamabad. |

Whatever Nadeem Sahib has said is perfectly fine for Lahore excise office.
The other and easy available option is to spend few hundred extra and get every thing done by an agent as registering an FIR with Police Offices, dealing with post office and finalizing with Excise office is a very difficult task for a common man. |
