Once Muneer Niazi (late) said: "Quarnic Ayat are so elegant that they keep themselves in veil from those who do not want to understand them".
And those who understands them, recite them repeatedly can dig out their hidden treasures. One who associate himself with the Quran becomes renowned. Although, believing in Quran, reciting it as it should be read, understanding it as it should be understood, Follwoing it as it should be obeyed & spreading its message to others is binding on the muslims but above this is what we call affection, love, attachment, devotion & passion, e.g., obeying the commandments of Allah & His messanger (SAW) is binding, however, beyond this one looks for what was dear to the Prophet (SAW) & try to follow this even it is not specifically commanded by him. Likewise, association with the Quran in such a way to understand it in the light of Hadith & then following it up seems insufficient by those who research for the ways to make it conveniently comfortable to understand for the people at large. For this putting all your efforts, resources, time, energies & your assets.
One who acts upon the above are promised prosperity; however, above this one who diligently engaged in putting all his efforts so that that the literate & intellectual elite may understand the fundamentals of Quran as they can grasp the eternal message of Allah in a better way so these may become the social brain of the society at large & will result in ultimate prosperity. This was the purpose of the life of Dr. Israr Ahmed; as I understood. He kept his moral till the last of his life & invited millions to this noble cause.
Alas! Dr. Israr Ahmed is no more with us Inna Lillah-a wa Inna ilahe Raje'oon. |
